Home / Restorations

Every restoration your practice prescribes.

Fixed, implant, removable and full-arch work from one lab, held to one standard, with one team to call. Each section covers indications, prep and scan notes, and exactly what to send.

Crown & bridge

All-ceramic, porcelain-fused-to-metal and full-cast options, so the material can follow the tooth, the clearance and the patient rather than the other way round. Custom shading is available on request.

All-ceramic crowns
Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM)
Full-cast crowns
Veneers and anteriors
Diagnostic wax-ups
PMMA temporaries
When to use it
  • Single crowns on vital or endodontically treated teeth with enough remaining structure
  • Short-span fixed bridges on sound, well-supported abutments
  • Anterior esthetic cases: veneers, crowns and custom-shaded units
  • PMMA temporaries for longer-term provisionals or to trial esthetics and occlusion
  • A diagnostic wax-up before irreversible prep on esthetic or multi-unit cases
Prep and scan notes
  • A clear, continuous margin you can see 360°. Retract and control bleeding before you scan or impress
  • Reduction to suit the material you prescribe. If clearance is tight, tell us and we will suggest a material that fits
  • Capture full contacts on both adjacent teeth, the full opposing arch and a stable bite
  • For anteriors, send a pre-op scan or photo if you want the existing form copied
What to send
  • Rx with tooth numbers, restoration type and material, or write lab to advise
  • Shade, with incisal and cervical notes where they differ
  • Prep scan or impression, opposing and bite registration
  • Shade photos with the tab in frame for esthetic cases

Implant restorations

Screw-retained and cemented implant crowns on custom-made abutments. Tell us the system and platform up front and we confirm component compatibility before any work starts.

Cemented implant crowns
Custom-made abutments
Case planning and consultation
When to use it
  • Screw-retained where the access hole lands in a usable spot and retrievability matters
  • Cemented where angulation would put the access hole through a facial or functional surface
  • Custom abutments to control emergence profile, margin depth and angle correction
Prep and scan notes
  • Seat the scan body fully and confirm it is the right one for the system and platform. Take a radiograph if you are unsure
  • If you have shaped the soft tissue, scan the emergence profile before you place the scan body
  • For analog cases, use impression copings suited to the case (open or closed tray) and send any analogs you have
  • Include the full opposing arch and a bite
What to send
  • Implant manufacturer, system, platform and diameter
  • Tooth site, plus screw-retained or cemented preference
  • Abutment preference, or lab to advise
  • Shade, scan or impression, opposing and bite

All-on-X / full arch

Implant-supported full-arch prostheses designed for comfort and a natural look. These cases go best when we plan them together before surgery, so call the lab early.

Implant-supported full-arch prostheses
Case planning and in-practice consultation
CAD/CAM design from scan data
When to use it
  • Edentulous arches or failing dentitions planned for a fixed, implant-supported prosthesis
  • Cases where the patient needs a predictable path from surgery to a final arch
How the case runs
  • A planning call with a technician before surgery to agree the stages
  • Records: implant positions, bite at the agreed vertical dimension and esthetic references
  • A try-in to confirm esthetics, phonetics and vertical dimension before the final
  • The final prosthesis, made to the approved try-in
What to send
  • Implant system, number and positions, plus any multi-unit abutment details
  • Bite record and the opposing arch
  • Full-face smile and retracted photos, with midline and smile-line notes
  • The existing denture or provisional when we have agreed to use it as a reference

Not sure which material fits the case?

Read the material guide, or call the lab and talk it through with a technician before you prep. We would rather plan it with you than guess.
